
Inspector Alain Gagnon
Mr. Alain Gagnon has been the commandant of Poste de quartier 38 since January 7, 2013.
It was twenty four years ago, in 1988, that Mr. Gagnon began his police career, in Brossard, on the south shore of Montréal. He joined the SPVM in 1989, inKirkland, in WestIsland. After working as a patroller, sergeant and lieutenant in several different boroughs, he rounded out his experience with seven years downtown in the Ville-Marie borough.
Before being appointed to the Poste de quartier 38, Mr. Gagnon has been Chief of PDQ 22 for four years, gaining experience in major event management.
He is enthusiastic about putting his experience to work for the people and consolidating relationships between the SPVM, local citizens, business owners and community partners in PDQ 38 neighbourhood.
