

Commandant Éric La Penna
Commandant La Penna joined the Montréal Police Service in 1990.
For a major part of his career he worked in Côte-des-Neiges, first as a patrouilleur and then as a superviseur.
Commandant La Penna earned his bachelor's and master's degrees in criminology at the Université de Montréal, winning an award for best thesis in 1998.
He has also worked on several police issues, including:
Mr. La Penna understands the importance of strong and lasting ties between the community and police officers and the involvement of residents in their neighbourhood.
