

Commandant Michel Wilson
Commandant Michel Wilson joined the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM) in 1983.
Mr. Wilson first served as an officer in Westmount and then in Saint- Henri, Saint-Michel and Hochelaga-Maisonneuve. He then continued his career in the Section technique (now known as the "Groupe tactique d'intervention - GTI"). There he developed several specialties in armed intervention, explosives and diving.
Promoted to the level of sergent, he went back to Westmount and also served briefly in Ville Saint-Laurent. Later, Mr. Wilson returned to the GTI, directing a team of high-risk intervention specialists. Through this experience, he earned the rank of commandant and went on to direct the technology crime and polygraph modules.
In June 2008, he accepted the position of chief of Poste de quartier 12, which covers the territory of Westmount and part of the Ville-Marie borough. Since November 2009, Michel Wilson is the new chief of Poste de quartier 3, serving residents of L'Île-Bizard, Pierrefonds-Roxboro and Sainte-Geneviève.
