The Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM) staff want to take care of the citizens’ concerns and contribute to the development of a safe and peaceful living environment.

SPVM promotes community openness through active listening, bridge building and theme weeks. Well-defined policies have been implemented to guide police professionalism and ensure respect for diversity within the communities they serve.

Finally, we could not fully uphold our mission without maintaining a close partnership with the public. This strong partnership is a source of much pride for us and has led to many achievements.
