One of the crime-fighting priorities of the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM) is to curb the phenomenon of street gangs. Working together with other partners, the SPVM uses all necessary measures and resources to promote a sense of security among the citizens of Montréal and to concentrate needed attention on youth.
