The free, confidential professional services offered by the CAVAC (crime victims assistance centre) are for people who have fallen victim to criminal actions, for their friends and family, and for witnesses to crime. CAVAC provides assistance whether or not the perpetrators of the crime have been identified, arrested, charged or found guilty.
The CAVAC provides crime victims with tools to help them regain their confidence and take control of their lives as quickly as possible. The services offered by CAVAC include:
