Child Identification Clinic on Saturday, May 12th

May 3, 2012, 1:36 PM

Get Your Child’s Identification Booklet!

In commemoration of National Missing Children's Day, the Missing Children's Network, in collaboration with the 4 Fashion Centres, will once again host a Child Identification Clinic on Saturday, May 12th at the following locations:

 Le Carrefour Laval
3003, boulevard Le Carrefour

Les Galeries d'Anjou
7999, boulevard des Galeries d'Anjou

Le Centre Fairview Pointe-Claire
6801, route Transcanadienne

Les Promenades Saint-Bruno
1, boulevard des Promenades

From 10 a.m. until 5 p.m., all families are encouraged to drop by any of the four Fashion Centres where local police and volunteers of the organization will be fingerprinting youngsters and completing their identification booklets by including a high-quality, digital photograph of the child.  As well, families will be provided with age-appropriate safety tips that will help ensure their children’s personal safety through the years.

The Missing Children's Network would like to remind all parents about the importance of always carrying with them quality and recent photographs of their children to be used in the event of an emergency.  Time is really of the essence in such traumatic situations and can truly make the difference between a speedy recovery or a prolonged search of the child.

As families are preparing for the end of the school year, considering a family vacation outside of the province or moving into a new neighbourhood, our May 12th clinic comes at an opportune time.  Don't miss this occasion to obtain a complimentary identification booklet for each of your children and at the same time pick up some precious safety tips for the entire family to review together!

About the Missing Children’s Network

In addition, the Missing Children’s Network offers comprehensive educational and prevention programs designed especially for children, parents and professionals.

The Missing Children's Network works in collaboration with law enforcement agencies in the province, is a proud partner of the Our Missing Children’s program, and is also a member of the Association of Missing and Exploited Children’s Organizations (AMECO).
