NPS 26 offers the following main services to the residents of its territory:

• Coordination with various private security agencies
• Crime prevention
• Developing and carrying out problem-solving projects
• Engraving
• Enforcement of various federal, provincial and municipal laws (Montréal)
• Follow-up with crime victims
• Local crowd control
• Patrols (foot, bicycle and car)
• Police participation in several local roundtables
• Police presence at educational institutions
• Preventive safety visits for residents and business owners
• Programs and ad hoc operations for local traffic problems and crime
• Providing information on aid agencies (residents and business owners)
• Road safety operations
• Relations with the community and target groups: youth, seniors, cultural communities
• School crossing management
• Verification of children's car seats
