Activités du SPVM

The team at PDQ 23 works to maintain security in its territory, in compliance with the SPVM's global priorities. To this end, the team has established these objectives for 2010.

• Maintain our efforts against Street Gang crime by patrolling potential recruitment sites.

• Decrease risky pedestrian behaviours and enforce driver respect at all pedestrian crossings.

• Work with our partners with a goal of closing the active shooting galleries in the district.

• Establish links and relationships through trust with partners and community agencies.

• Collaborate with members of the district urban security committee to set up solutions aimed at reducing incivility, aggravation caused by street prostitution, narcotics consumption and the presence of shooting galleries.
