
Police from Station 7 inSt. Laurent are inviting the public to come out for eggs and bacon May 24 and, to support the Mondial de Soccer St. Lo.
Soccer St. Lo is an alternative soccer league run by off-duty police officers at Station 7 inSt. Laurent and, at other stations across MontrealIsland. The league, now going into its thrid year, is open to 12- to 25-year-olds and free of charge. The league aims to foster positive connections between police and communities.
The early-morning fundraiser will be held at Cera’s, 6005 Henri Bourassa Blvd. W. from 6 a.m. until 10 a.m. A choice of four breakfasts will be available at a cost of $5. Money raised will go toward new jerseys, balls and other equipment required.
