This section provides some advice on what to do if your child is a victim or a perpetrator of taxing or bullying.

 My child is being taxed/bullied

 My child is taxing/bullying others

 If you answer yes to many of these questions, your child may be being bullied or taxed at school.

  • Is your child coming home with damaged clothing or possessions?

  • Is your child coming home with injuries he or she does not want to talk about?

  • Does your child rarely bring friends home and rarely go to friends’ houses?

  • Does your child refuse to go to school in the morning? Have no appetite? Often have headaches or stomach aches?

  • Does your child take strange routes to get to school and take longer than usual to get to or from school?

  • Is your child losing interest in school work? Are your child’s grades sliding?

  • Does your child seem sad, depressed or unhappy? Does your child’s mood change for no known reason?

  • Is your child irritable or angry?

  • Does your child ask for or steal money?
