I speak out!

Do you sometimes feel like one of these kids? If so, speak out!

It hurts my feelingsIt hurts my feelings

If a hail of insults is always raining down on me, from my so-called "friends," brothers and sisters, my parents or other people, I don't keep quiet about it, I speak out! It's not okay to be bullied. I have just as much right to be treated well as everyone else.

I tell an adult I trust: parent, teacher, social worker, police community relations officer

Sometimes I feel ashamedSometimes I feel ashamed

If someone does stuff to me that invades my privacy and makes me uncomfortable, whether it's my brother or sister, one of my parents, someone who is supposed to be taking care of me or anybody at all, I don't keep quiet about it, I speak out! I don't keep it to myself, and even if I feel ashamed:

Sometimes I feel like I'm going to explodeSometimes I feel like I'm going to explode

Sometimes I'm so mad I feel like I'm going to explode and do something I'll regret. I don't even know whether it's because I'm angry or because I'm sad. When this happens, I don't bottle it up. I don't keep quiet about it, I speak out!

I confide in an adult I trust: parent, teacher, school social worker, nurse, doctor, psychologist, police community relations officer

No one pays attention to meNo one pays attention to me

Whether I'm good or bad, whether I do my homework or not, whether I come home late or on time, and even when I'm surrounded by people, it's like no one is paying to attention to me. When I feel like this, I don't keep quiet about it, I speak out!
