Looking for a summer job for 2013? Be an SPVM police cadet!

The Service de police de la Ville de Montréal is looking for police cadets for summer 2013.

This job offer is open to all CEGEP and university students. It is a full-time summer job, but you will also have the opportunity to work occasionally during the academic year.

You will support police operations, especially sports, cultural and public events, by performing a variety of tasks:

  • Carry out preventive patrols by bike
  • Control peaceful crowds, provide SPVM presence by walking around, controlling access ways and providing information to the public
  • Take part in crime prevention campaigns
  • Redirect traffic
  • Contribute to the Info-crime program by writing various documents
  • Serve as a “complaint recorder” with the Section des fraudes

Working as a police cadet will give you practical experience in the field, exciting challenges and a definite advantage in your next job search!
