Superviseur de circulationThe traffic supervisors organizes and supervises the work of their team (approximately 12 officers), according to operational (day by day) and corporate needs (organization's priorities).

They work hard to ensure the district stations of their territory have adequate support in the application of road safety regulations, at both the prevention and organizational levels.

Their skills, and those of their personnel are at the disposal of the Service in order to direct traffic effectively and to decrease the risks of clogging and collisions during specific events:

  • Social or corporate demonstrations and events
    • Parades
    • Canada day, etc.
  • Unplanned events that create traffic problems:
    • burst water pipe
    • closed highway at rush hour
    • snowstorms, etc.
