2010 Action Plan

Centre de commandement et de traitement de l'information

Many 2007-2009 SPVM orientations were renewed for 2010:

  • Adapt our services to our ever-evolving environment.
  • Support our personnel and contribute to their success in a diversity management context.
  • Increase our organisational and financial capacity.

The decision was based by taking into account several elements, including major reforms implemented during the last few years, the continuation of major projects like the comprehensive approach to safety and M-IRIS1, the services and projects associated with Vision SPVM 20102.

1 M-IRIS is a computer system being used to enter and search trough real-time police information. This system will make it possible to automate the flow of police information starting from the 9-1-1 call through to the presentation of a file in court.

2 Vision SPVM 2010 aims to ensure the dynamic aspect of the organization by re-evaluating the services offered to the population, by proposing innovative methods to increase financial autonomy and by repositioning the SPVM in the new socio-economic environment.
